TERMS & CONDITIONS
All practitioners at Med Laser Ltd. are NVQ L4 Laser & IPL qualified therapists.
The laser equipment used at Med Laser Ltd. is FDA approved and of Medical Grade, Class 4.
We will only treat individuals of 18 years and above.
All practitioners are trained and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment and manufacturer protocols. Med Laser Ltd. does not guarantee continued treatment with a named therapist. Med Laser Ltd. does not guarantee appointment dates or times, these are subject to availability.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require 48 hours’ notice. Failure to give the required notice will result in you losing your treatment session or late cancellation fee*.
Clients who have purchased a treatment or a course of treatments but fail to attend their appointment/s will not be entitled to a refund for their missed treatment.
Please arrive for your appointment at least 5 minutes in advance so consultation paperwork can be completed and, if needed, photographs of your treatment areas can be documented. The details of consultation are for our use only and kept confidential. Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment. Med Laser Ltd. will always endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to time and will do their best to keep you informed of any delays. Should we need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance.
At consultation appointments we will inform you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged.
*Cancellation fees are charged at £20 for appointments. Failure to arrive for an appointment without notifying reception 48h prior will result in complete loss of the treatment from your treatment plan.
REFUNDS:
At Med Laser we only offer refunds for unused treatments due to medical reasons and with a doctors note provided showing you are no longer suitable for the treatment. Any already used treatments will not be refunded.
We do not offer refunds in any of the following circumstances:
– Treatment is non-refundable once undertaken. However, if you are unsatisfied, we will always try and review any treatment that has been provided.
– Voucher campaign or discounted treatments are non-refundable.
– Skin care cosmetic items are non-refundable.
– Treatment is non-refundable after the first consultation has taken place and you agreed on/paid for a treatment.
-If you pre-pay for treatments you will save an amount according to the pre-payment schedule. There is no refund on pre-pays, and they are not transferable to other individuals or other treatment areas.
LASER HAIR PACKAGES:
We can offer great value and speedy laser treatments using industry leaders in laser technology. Our treatment times are extremely fast and efficient due to the advances in our Gold Standard laser machines, with treatment times taking from 10 minutes per small area and full body treatments taking around 60 minutes.
By purchasing a course of treatments, you are entering into a contract with Med Laser Ltd. and committing to undergo treatments within recommended timelines and following advised aftercare. Failing to do so may result in unsatisfactory results and more treatments required.
With the laser hair removal areas that are sold as a package, for example the Full legs, Brazilian & Underarms Package, areas purchased in the package cannot be split over separate appointments.
If you are late for your appointment, treatment areas are unshaven, the session will be forfeited, and no refund or alternative appointment will be offered.
If for any reason an appointment is postponed/cancelled by us, we will always offer an alternative date. We are unable to offer any refunds on this basis.
All treatments purchased as a course, must be paid for in full, in advance of the first treatment unless agreed otherwise with the therapist. All courses have a 12-month expiry date (6 treatments and less) or an 18-month expiry date (7 or more treatments). Any unused treatments after the expiry date will be lost unless agreed otherwise with the practitioner.
TREATMENT SUITABILITY:
All tattoos/birth marks/moles will be fully covered prior to any laser treatments.
We will always offer a free consultation and a patch test as well as assess whether treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. We are unable to guarantee results.
We will need to ask for your full medical history and any ongoing treatments/medication that may be a contraindication to the treatment. If you withhold any information that may result in side effects to the treatment, we won’t be held responsible.
Clients undertaking any laser treatment that have had treatment for cancer must be in remission for a minimum of 1 year before treatment can be undertaken.
RESOLVING COMPLAINTS:
At Med Laser Ltd. we treat all clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If, however, you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment, you are entitled to lodge a complaint, either verbally, by telephone or in writing.
The member of staff who initially receives the complaint will convey the details to the Clinic Manager or their designated deputy, and you will receive either an email or telephone call within 5 days of lodging the complaint that an investigation into the matter is under way.
During the investigation, Med Laser Ltd. may require you to attend an additional consultation with the practitioner involved in your treatment, if this is deemed appropriate. If you are not satisfied with this initial attempt at resolution or have any objection to being seen by this practitioner, the clinic Manager will review your case.
